Somalia, Djibouti Ink Key Media Cooperation Agreement

GOOBJOOG NEWS | DJIBOUTI: Somalia and Djibouti Thursday signed an agreement that will see the two nations cooperate in developing the media and communication sector.

The deal was made during a meeting between Somalia’s Minister of Information, Culture, and Tourism Daud Aweys Jama and the Djiboutian Minister of Communications and Posts Ridwan Abdullahi Bahdoon in Djibouti.

The two sides emphasized the importance of cooperation and expressed their commitment to exchange knowledge and skills in the field.

The Djiboutian minister thanked his Somali counterpart for the cooperation and highlighted the potential benefits for both nations’ media sector.

Minister Jama and his Somali delegation, currently on an official visit to Djibouti also toured the Djibouti Radio and Television (RTD) center to gain insights into its operations.

This partnership aims to strengthen media ties between the two neighboring nations, fostering collaboration and enhancing journalistic practices.
