Somalia: federal government commends Turkish role in reconstruction
The federal government of Somalia has commended the active role of Turkish government in reconstruction of Somalia especially the capital city since it got involved 2011.
Foreign affairs minister of federal government Abdirahman Duale Beilah speaking during a farewell ceremony for the outgoing Turkish ambassador to Somalia Kamuldiin Kani held in Mogadishu said that the ambassador has strengthened and improved the existing ties between the two nations.
He added that the federal government will warmly welcome the newly appointed ambassador that will replace Mr. Kani and promised that the relations between Somalia and Turkey will grow much better.
Turkish government has appointed new ambassador to replace the outgoing ambassador who was in office the last three years.
Similar farewell ceremony organized by Somali REN was held in Mogadishu last week.
