Somalia, Kenya renew efforts in war against Al-shabaab

GOOBJOOG NEWS | NAIROBI: Somalia and Kenya have agreed to strengthen partnership in enhancing security and fighting the Al-Shabaab militants.

The agreement was discussed during a meeting between Somalia’s presidential security advisor Hussein Macallin and his Kenyan counterpart Monica Juma in Nairobi.

The two advisors discussed the various ways the two governments can collaborate in strengthening security and other bilateral partnerships.

Ms Juma further commended the Federal Government of Somalia’s efforts in the ongoing war against Al-Shabaab which has seen several parts liberated from the militants.
