GOOBJOOG NEWS | KUWAIT CITY: Somalia and Kuwait have agreed to expand cooperation in diplomacy, development and capacity building, sealing three agreements aimed at strengthening ties between the two nations.
The accords, signed during Somali Foreign Minister Abdisalam Abdi Ali’s visit to Kuwait, include the creation of a joint committee to accelerate projects, a framework for regular political consultations, and a training partnership between Kuwait’s Saud Al-Nasser Al-Sabah Diplomatic Institute and Somalia’s Diplomatic Studies Institute.
Officials said the agreements are expected to boost Somalia’s diplomatic capacity, open channels for economic collaboration and reinforce Kuwait’s role as a development partner in the Horn of Africa.
