Somalia Marks police day

Events to mark the 71 anniversary of the Somali Police  day are held in all regions of the  country. A well executed ceremony is now underway at Somalia’s police academy general Kaahiye in Mogadishu.

President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud who attended the ceremony has inspected a guard of honour mounted by  police forces who lined up in readiness to commemorate the day and finally left the scene without giving speech.

After the guard of honour it was followed by well planned parade and walk around the academy.

Somalia police day was founded on 20^th December 1943.
