Somalia Military court sets free 7 security officials
Somali military court has today released 7 of the 11 officers who were accused of supporting suicide attack of SYL hotel which occurred on 21st January this year.
The chairman of Somali martial court, Hassan Ali Shuute has declared that the court has acquitted 7 security officials after they were found not guilty while the remaining five officers will be remanded till further notice.
“After the conclusion of thorough investigation on their cases, some of the officers were found not guilty “he said.

2. Ali Ahmed Abdi
3. Bashiir Yussuf Fooley
4. Abdifatah Adan Ahmed
5. Salad Abdullahi Sheikh Ali
6. AbdiKamaal Hussein Abdi
7. Mohamed Ali Hassan
Those Remanded in custody
1. Mohamed Dahir Abdulle
2. Mahad Abdi Omar
3. Hassan Dahir Mohamed
4. Ahmedkhadar Mohamed Hassan.
It was on the 7th May, Somali federal government arrested of 11 officials including senior police officers and intelligence officials who were allegedly accused of having in connection with the attack on SYL Hotel in Mogadishu.
