Somalia: New premier due to appear before parliament for approval

The federal parliament of Somalia will take an extra-ordinary meeting in Mogadishu today.
The newly appointed prime minister of Somalia of federal government Omar Abdirashid Ali Sharma’arke is expected to appear before the parliament to seek the vote of confidence.
Somali premier Mr. Sharma’arke was asked to come before the federal on Wednesday after Somali speaker Mr. Jawari, the deputy speakers and permanent committees took meeting in speaker’s office on Tuesday.
The former ambassador of Somalia to United states was appointed to replace the premier Abdiweli Sheikh Ahmed who was voted out of office by Somali parliament after he fell out with the president of the republic of Somalia.
