Somalia: Parliament meeting due to commence today

 

 

 

 

 

 

The federal parliament of Somalia will have its normal meeting in Mogadishu today, federal parliament speaker Mohamed Sheikh Osman Jawari declared that he will distribute the no confidence against Somali premier Abdiweli Sheikh Ahmed.

The speaker warned the MPs trying to block the motion and the smooth running of the parliament.

On other hand the MPs from the two camps took meetings in Mogadishu and spoke the media on Sunday evening.

Pro motion MPs said they are the majority adding that their decision and stand cannot be blocked by anyone in any means.

The MPs opposing the motion on their side said the speaker of the parliament Mr. Jawari will bear the responsibility of whatever happens in the parliament on Sunday, they the MPs to respect the parliament session.

Two previous sessions of the parliament couldn’t start because MPs against the motion started singing, shouting and  screaming.
