Somalia Partnership Forum kicks off today in Brussels.
Somali partnership Forum kicks off today in Brussels-Belgium for two days meeting to mobilise the international community to step up support for Somalia’s efforts to build a more secure and prosperous future following years of conflict.
Vice-President Federica Mogherini will co-chair the conference with H.E. Mr Mohamed Abdulahi Mohamed, the President of the Federal Republic of Somalia and Ms Margot Wallström, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Sweden. Commissioner for Humanitarian Aid and Crisis Management, Christos Stylianides will also attend.
Delegation leading by President Mohamed Farmajo of Somali have arrived in Brussels two days ago to attend the conference.
The Brussels conference follows previous meetings in London and Mogadishu which were discussed for security, politics, finance and the development of Somalia.
