Somalia, Qatar Explore Trade and Investment Opportunities

GOOBJOOG NEWS | MOGADISHU: Somalia and Qatar have committed to strengthening investment opportunities for mutual economic growth.

This emerged from a meeting between Trade and Industry Minister Mahmoud Adan Geesood and the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Somalia, Dr. Abdullah Salem Al Nuaimi.

The two sides explored opportunities for building industries in Somalia and creating a favourable environment for international investment.

Minister Geesood stressed the Federal Government’s commitment to strengthening economic cooperation with friendly countries, especially the Government of Qatar, and thanked it for its continued support to Somalia.
