Somalia Reaffirms Commitment to Human Rights Cooperation at U.N. Council
GOOBJOOG NEWS | GENEVA: Somalia reaffirmed its commitment to advancing human rights and strengthening cooperation with international partners during remarks delivered at the United Nations Human Rights Council.
Khadro Mohamed Dualle, Somalia’s ambassador and permanent representative to the United Nations in Geneva, said the Federal Government of Somalia continues to implement reforms aimed at improving governance, protecting human rights and promoting inclusive development.
Dualle noted that Somalia values constructive dialogue and cooperation with member states and international institutions, stressing that such partnerships are essential to supporting the country’s recovery and institutional development.
She also reaffirmed Somalia’s commitment to working closely with the United Nations and global partners to promote peace, stability and sustainable development.
