Somalia records 38 new COVID 19 cases & 1 death

The number of coronavirus cases in Somalia stands 873 following the minister of health Fawziya Abikar report on Wednesday that confirmed 38 new cases in the past 24 hours.

The minister also said during the daily briefing, one patient succumbed to the deadly disease, bringing the total number of fatalities to 39 people.

Other than the Banadir region, the federal member states have no testing capacity leading lack of Isolation and emergency treatment of the patients.

The World Health Organization has warned the disease easy way of transmission could increase a large number of human death in daily routine and demanded more health care to protect the lives of the people.
