Somalia Seeks Aviation, Infrastructure Gains at Beijing Forum

GOOBJOOG NEWS | BEIJING: Somalia is using an international forum in Beijing to pursue new partnerships aimed at improving its aviation sector and transport infrastructure.

Officials from the Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation said the meetings give Somalia access to technical expertise and cooperation that could support airport upgrades and regional flight connections.

“Somalia’s participation shows our commitment to modernising transport and aviation,” said ministry delegate Siciid Abdullahi Mahmoud.
