Somalia, Somaliland form technical team to continue negotiations

President Farmajo of the Federal Government Somalia and President Muse Bihi of Somaliland have agreed to set up a technical committee to continue the discussions and to gain sustainable solution between the two sides.

This move comes after Djiboutian government through its Ministry of Foreign Affairs released a communiqué on the Somaliland and Somalia discussion conference held in the capital Djibouti.

The meeting which proposed Djibouti as the venue of the technical meeting called for the support of both regional and international towards the process.

Somali President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo expressed the full support of his government towards the committee to keep the process of reconciliation and achieve memorable goals for Somali people.
