Somalia, Somaliland joint technical committee sign preliminary deals

Somalia and Somaliland joint technical committee have reached preliminary deals on issues namely foreign aid, security and airspace control.
The Djiboutian foreign minister who was facilitating Somalia-Somaliland talks, Mahmud Ali Yusuf stated the sign of the five points between the two sides during speaking to the media.
“The sides agreed to come up with code of code that guides the upcoming talks between Somalia and Somaliland,” said the minister.
The joint committee also agreed to form three joint sub-committees task to deal with aid, investment as well as security and airspace.
The meeting of the three sub-committees scheduled next month in the capital Djibouti to work several issues previously agreed on by the two parties.
