Somalia, South Korea to Strengthen Diplomatic Ties Amid UN Security Council Role

GOOBJOOG NEWS | NAIROBI: Somalia and South Korea have reaffirmed their commitment to deepening bilateral relations, with a focus on expanding cooperation and mutual interests on the global stage.
In a key diplomatic meeting in Nairobi, Somalia’s Ambassador to Kenya, Jabriil Ibrahim Cabdulle, hosted his South Korean counterpart, Ambassador Kang Hyung-shik, to discuss ways to enhance collaboration between their nations.
With both countries currently serving as non-permanent members of the United Nations Security Council, the talks centered on strengthening partnerships in diplomacy, security, and economic development.
“We had a productive discussion with H.E. KANG Hyung-shik on advancing our shared goals and reinforcing our bilateral ties,” said Ambassador Jabriil. “Our commitment to deepening cooperation remains strong.”
