Somalia: The parliaments of federal government and Puntland enjoy good correlation
Puntland speaker described the relationship between Puntland parlament and the federal parliament of Somalia as gaining momentum and enjoying high level ties since puntland and Somali federal government of Somalia signed the agreement in Garowe 14th October this month.
Sa’id Hassan Shire the speaker of Puntland parliament has narrated about the achievements that Putland parliament made since their selection earlier this year.
He stated that the parliament promotes security measures to tightening the stability of Puntland adding that they will come up with new policy of accountability and transparency to lead the semi autonomous regional state of Puntland to a prosperous future.
The signed agreement between Puntland administration and the federal government of Somalia led to close collaboration between the two parliaments
The speaker of the federal government Professor Mahamed Osman Jawari was due to open 34th session of Puntland parliament in Garowe but he did not attend for unidentified reasons.
The federal government of Somalia and regional state of Puntland signed an agreement in Garowe, the administrative capital of the state on 14th October to restore the ties between the sides that has been cut by president Gaas after the announcement of the proposed Central state administration.
