Somalia to Open New Ambassadorial Residence in Tanzania

GOOBJOOG NEWS | DAR ES SALAAM: Somalia’s Embassy in Tanzania will officially inaugurate the newly constructed residence of its ambassador, marking a key step in modernizing the country’s diplomatic infrastructure abroad.

The residence, completed under Ambassador Elias Ali Hassan’s tenure, is the second major construction project in Tanzania within a year, following last year’s opening of the revamped chancery building.

Officials say the development reflects Somalia’s commitment to providing dignified and functional facilities for its diplomatic staff.

The new residence is expected to serve as a hub for diplomatic engagement and hospitality, strengthening bilateral ties between Somalia and Tanzania.
