GOOBJOOG NEWS | DOHA, Qatar: Deputy Prime Minister Salah Ahmed Jama has called for stronger international cooperation to tackle hunger and poverty, emphasizing that only collective global action can deliver lasting change.

Speaking at the inaugural Global Leaders’ Summit of the International Alliance for Combating Hunger and Poverty in Doha, Jama said Somalia remains committed to contributing actively to global anti-poverty efforts.

He highlighted that partnerships and sustained collaboration among member states are vital to achieving shared development goals.

The Deputy Prime Minister’s remarks underscored Somalia’s growing role in shaping global development dialogue, as the country works to strengthen food security, resilience, and inclusive economic growth at home.
