Somalia’s FM Attends Emergency Arab League Meeting in Turkey Over Iran-Israeli Conflict

GOOBJOOG NEWS | ANKARA: Somali Foreign Affairs Minister Abdisalam Abdi Ali joined Arab League ministers for an emergency meeting in Turkey on Friday following the escalation of aerial attacks between Iran and Israel.

The session was convened at the request of the Republic of Iraq to address the recent Israeli attacks on the Islamic Republic of Iran and their wider implications for regional security.

The top diplomats are in the Turkish metropolis for the 51st session of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Council of Foreign Ministers, scheduled for Saturday and Sunday. Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan is hosting the gathering.
