Somaliland army takes control of Sah-Der locality
The security forces of the break-away state of Somaliland in Northern Somalia have captured Sah-Der locality in Sol region on Tuesday evening.
The commander of Somaliland forces who attacked Sah Der Col. Mohamed Mohamud Dunkal locality told Gob Jog FM that Somaliland forces are in full control of the locality, adding that one senior officer on their side died during a brief confrontation between Somaliland and Khatumo forces.
The commander also stated that the forces arrested five officials of Katumo state led by Ali Khalif Galeyr.
Mr. Dunkal reiterated that the forces have prevented the inauguration ceremony of the newly elected president of Katumo state Ali Khalif Galeyr that was to be held on Thursday in the area.
On the other hand Khatumo parliament speaker Mohamud Sheikh Omar who contacted Gob Jog FM stated that Katumo forces resisted the attack of Somaliland forces adding that Sah Der is now in full control of their administration(Katumo)
Mr. Omar stated that the inauguration ceremony of the elected president will be held in Sah Der locality.
