Somaliland Police consficate bags of weed

Somaliland’s police has confiscated bhang concealed in bags following operations carried out.

Somaliland’s Police commissioner speaking to media has confirmed the seizure of bags.

“Police officers have confiscated rolls of bhang which is a danger to the general public and against our religious belief and may be used to compromise our security.

The illicit drugs were hidden in bangs” he went on to say “This drug consignment was confiscated from vehicle.

The commander commended his officers for a job well done for nabbing such amount of drugs which would have been used to destroy many innocent youths.

He urged police to continue with the operation to get rid of drugs in Somaliland.
He also sent a strong warning to all hooligans and criminals that their days are numbered if they are caught in the act they will face lengthy jail sentences without an option of a fine.

Meanwhile the police also has detained two smugglers who smuggle immigrants and 46 immigrants in its waters as they tried to illegally cross to neighboring Yemen in small boats.
