Somaliland police killed one person and injured four others

At least of one death of person has been confirmed and four others wounded including three with serious injuries after the breakaway Somaliland’s policemen allegedly opened fire on civilians in Hargeisa town.

The sources say that the civilians confront with the lawmen prompting the shootings which claimed live of one person and the four other hospitalised with injuries.

Somaliland’s administration has yet to comment on the incident and attempts to reach the police has bored no fruits.

Somaliland, region in northern Somalia has declared a unilateral independence from the rest of Somalia in 1991, however, its efforts for an international recognition hasn’t so far accomplished success.
