Somaliland puts condition to attend Somalia-Somaliland talks
The administration of the breakaway Somaliland has put condition to participate talks between Somali government and Somaliland in Istanbul, the capital city of Turkey.
The delegation led by Somaliland’s foreign minister Musa Bihi Yonis has turned down to attend the conference claiming some of Somali government’s delegates are hailing from breakaway Somaliland therefore they demanded to exclude these members from the delegates.
Ministers of information and transport and civil aviation, Mohamed hayir Mareye and Ali jama’a Jangili respectively are hailing Somaliland region who will represent the federal government of Somalia in talks which was expected to kick off on Sunday.
Somaliland delegates submitted complains to Turkey government which is a recent key ally of Somalia government and the mediator of the talks.
