Suicide bomber blows, kills 15 at military recruits centre in Mogadishu

GOOBJOOG NEWS|MOGADISHU: At least 15 people were killed and over ten others injured after a suicide bomber blew up at a military recruit centre in Mogadishu.

Medical sources told Goobjoog News that 15 bodies had been recovered from the site in Mogadishu’s Dharkinley district.

According to sources, the bomber was in the queue alongside other young people who were lining up to be recruited into the military at the former candy factory.

The area has since been sealed off as security forces conduct investigations.

The militant group Al-Shabaab has claimed responsibility for the attack.
