Sweden pledges military support for Somalia

Somali National Army (SNA) Chief of Defence Forces Maj. Gen. Mohamed Adan Ahmed has received Brigadier General Stefan Andersson of the Swedish Armed Forces at Somali defence ministry in Mogadishu.
Their discussion was focused on how to strengthen working relations between the two forces.
SNA chief thanked Stefan Andersson for the visit he paid to Somalia.
“Somalia and Sweden have historic relation and Somalia and Sweden will work closely” he said.
For his part, Stefan Andersson said Somalia has got many problems since the fall Somali central government and that Sweden government will give Somalia support militarily.
