Taxi driver killed, passenger injured in car blast near Mogadishu airport
A taxi driver has been killed a passenger injured when an explosive device suspected to have been hidden in his car went off a short distance from Aden Adde Airport in Mogadishu.
Sources said the vehicle was heading to the city centre from a parking bay near the airport when the improvised explosive device exploded near Jazeera hotel.
No one has claimed responsibility for the attack which comes a day after former Al-Shabaab deputy leader Mukhtar Robow was flown to Mogadishu from Bakool region.
