Telecommunications minister Guleed Kassim fired

Posts and Telecommunication minister Guleed Hussein Kassim has been relieved of his duties in a decree from the Prime Minister’s office.
Prime Minister Abdirashid Omar Sharmarke in a decree Monday said the duty to fire Kassim was in line with section 97 sub sections 1, 2 and 3 of the Provisional Constitution. Sub section 3 gives power the Prime Minister to hire the deputy premier and council of ministers.
Kassim has been replaced by Mohamed Jama’a Mursal.
Kassim was appointed minister in February 5, 2015 following a cabinet reshuffle.
