The National Communication Institute Re-opened today
The Ministry of Communications, Communications & Technology has reopened the National Institute of National Education under the Ministry, which enhances the technology of the country.
The national communication institute was established in 1976, it has been assisted by ITU and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) but has been operating since 1991. But since 2011 there has been attempted to repatriate the Institute, and there have been tools for accessing the media and technology equipment, which is now resolved.
Minister for Posts communication and Technology Eng. Abdi Taxuur Hassan said the Institute will do a great deal to produce technology professionals and said: “When we took over the office we decided to build a consulting institute, and we have made this equipment and repairs through with the ministry of education, without asking money for the government.”
The Institute is currently working on computer labs and Cisco labs, and students can practice the internet of the government to learn how to manage websites, the Internet Exchange Point, which The ministry has offered in the last six months, with the help of the Ministry of Communications.
