The third phase of high level forum between Somali leaders kicks off in Kismayo

The third phase of a high level forum between Somalia Federal Government and the Federal states is underway in Kismayo, the administrative capital of Jubbaland.
Somalia Federal Government President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud along with Puntland leader Abdiweli Gas and his Jubba counterpart Ahmed Mohamed Islam are said to be holding a meeting as a follow up of the Garowe conference early this year.
The leaders are likely to discuss significant developments in the country such as the up coming Hiiran/Middle Shabelle state formation which was put off early this month, integration of the army among others.
Kismayo city has this morning woke up to heavy presence of armed forces in the streets with the latter closing down school, businesses, markets and other major social places.
