Three on autorickshaw die after collision with bus in Mogadishu

Three people died Tuesday evening after auto rickshaw collided head on with a minibus at Hanta-der along Mogadishu-Afgooye highway.

According to witnesses, the incident happened at 6pm on Tuesday evening. The three who were aboard the auto rickshaw died on the spot.

The driver of the bus and several other passengers escaped with injuries and the the injured were taken to hospitals in Somalia’s capital.

The incident comes just a day after a lorry heading to Mogadishu port rammed into a car in Mogadishu’s Waberi district along 21st October highway, leading the death of two people.

In Somalia, most car accident often causes deaths and injuries in which are attributed to the drivers who do not have enough experiences.
