Three die of electrocution while trying to steal cables in Bondhere

GOOBJOOG NEWS|MOGADISHU: Three unidentified men were on Friday night electrocuted to death in what was described as a failed attempt to vandalize high-voltage power cables in Bondhere district in Mogadishu.

Some residents who spoke to the media said that the vandals were digging under the electric panels in order to sever the cables, but unexpectedly met their  untimely death when they chanced upon live wires. 

Police are said to have arrived at the scene of the incident and took away the badly burnt bodies of the three men, saying investigations were on course to identify the identity of the three.
