Three seats up for grabs today in Kismayo
Goobjoog News/Kismayo: Jubaland Electoral Commission is set to hold elections for three Parliamentary seats today in the city of Kismayo.
One of the seats, HOP 118 was left vacant following the demise of the former Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Saqar Ibrahim Abdalla.
Seat HOP 126 will be contested by the South West Minister of Transport, Hassan Hussein Eelay and Abdirahman Moalim Hussein after Mohamed Idris Ganey bowed out of the seat.

- Hassan Hussein Mohamed Eelay.
- Abdirahman Moalim Hussein.
HOP 118
- Yusuf Mohamed Ismail.
- Omar Mohamed Omar.
HOP 127
Currently held by Ali Osman Hersi, and will be contested by several candidates.
Galmudug is also set to hold elections for seven Parliamentary seats today in Dhusamareb, and with the current momentum, the February 25th deadline can be met if the process remains undeterred.
