Three Suspected Al-Shabaab Members Arrested in Mogadishu

GOOBJOOG NEWS|MOGADISHU: The National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) has arrested three men who were said to be part of a network of Al-Shabaab group in charge of planned actions against the security of Mogadishu.

According to a statement from the agency, the three were seized on an autorickshaw while in possession of weapons. Security forces also recovered a motorcycle from the suspects.

According to NISA, the suspects had earlier been arrested and were involved in a spate of attacks and robberies in Mogadishu.
