May 2, 2015: South-west Interim Administration President Sharif Hassan Sheikh flew to Garowe to attend a meeting between Somali Federal president and heads of Federal units.

May 5, 2015: Interim President of Southwest State Sharif Hassan meets United States Secretary of State John Kerry in Mogadishu.

 

May 5, 2015: A popular football personality named Ali Omar Said aka (Ali Shampoo) dies in Baidao .

May 17, 2015: Al-shabab claims to have seized alleged America drone which they say have crashed on Elbashir district of Bay region.

 

May 18, 2015: A road side bomb was targeted at a convoy escorting south-west Federal president Sharif Hassan in Lower Shabelle , he survived the attempt on his life .

 

May 27, 2015: South-west president met with the Local Media workers to extend his condolence of brutal murder against veteran journalist which took place in the city of Baidao. He asked the media to work with him to make Baido more secure and save for journalist and for everyone alike.

May 30, 2015: Sharif Sheikh Adan-the interim president of South West supports the motion Somali Federal Parliament introduces against Jubbland State. He also briefed the media ongoing fighting between Somali Security Forces and Alshabab in the region.
