Traditional elders make efforts to ease tensions between two clan militias in Abudwak

Reports from Abudwak district, in Galgadud region state traditional elders and intellectuals are making tireless efforts to ease tensions between two armed clan militia in the two.

This recent hostilities began after a civilian was killed in the district.

The traditional elders and religious leaders are in talks with the clans to find a lasting solution to the conflicts between the sides.

The recent clan clashes in Galgadud region particularly Abudwak district has claimed the lives of many people mostly sides.

The federal government has severally created committee comprising of ministers and politicians to resolve the repeated clan clashes in the region but nothing much was done.
