Turkey condemns deadly terror attack in the capital Mogadishu
Turkey has strongly condemned the terror attacks on yesterday in the Somalia capital Mogadishu that killed almost 17 people and injured more than 28 people.
The Turkish Foreign Ministry said in a statement “We strongly condemn the terrorist attack perpetrated on Monday morning by a car bomb targeting a security checkpoint in the capital Mogadishu, causing deaths and injuries of numerous people,”
“We wish Allah’s mercy upon those who lost their lives, a speedy recovery to the wounded and convey our condolences to the friendly and brotherly Government and people of Somalia,” the statement read.
Somali-based al-Qaeda affiliated terrorist group Al-Shabaab has claimed the responsibility of the attacks.
