Turkey to Continue its Support to Somalia’s War on Terrorism

GOOBJOOG NEWS | MOGADISHU: Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan has vowed to continue support for Somalia’s fight against terrorism.

In an official communication, president Edorgan also said that Türkiye will maintain its mediation efforts to resolve the conflict between Somalia and Ethiopia.

“During the call, President Erdogan expressed the importance Türkiye attaches to Somalia’s territorial integrity and unity,” the communications office said in a statement on X.

President Erdogan added that bilateral collaboration in many areas, particularly energy and defense, will continue to advance further.
