Turkey airlifts Turks, Somalis injured in Afgooye bombing

A Turkish military air ambulance Tuesday morning airlifted three Turkish engineers and six Somalis security personnel who were injured in a bombing in Afgooye Saturday.
The airlift, a second within a month followed a car bombing targeting Turkish engineers involved in the Afgooye-Mogadishu road construction.
Turkey airlifted more than ten Somalis early this month following a deadly truck bombing in Ex-Control areas which killed 89 people and injured over 150 others. Turkey said it would not be deterred in its development efforts in Somalia.
