Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his wife test positive for Omicron

GOOBJOOG NEWS/ANKARA: Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and First Lady Emine Erdogan both test positive for Covid-19 with mild symptoms.

While announcing the news on a twitter post, the Turkish President said the symptoms they exhibited were mild and called on well-wishers to remember them in prayers.

“Today, the result of our COVID-19 test, which i had with my wife after mild symptoms, was positive. Thankfully, we have a mild illness, which we learnt to be an Omicron variant. We are on our mission. We will continue our work at home. We look forward to your prayers”.
