Two expectant women gunned down in Mogadishu

GOOBJOOG NEWS|MOGADISHU: Two pregnant women working for the Ministry of Defence were shot dead this morning in Dayniile district in Mogadishu.

Residents told Goobjoog News the two women were gunned down as they boarded an auto-rickshaw to report to work. One other woman was injured.

The three women were working as cleaners in the Ministry of Defence. The circumstances surrounding their killings remain unclear but the militant group Al-Shabaab is known to target government employees.
