Two Foreign Fighters Arrested in Galgaduud Region

GOOBJOOG NEWS | EL-DHER: The Somali National Army Sunday arrested two foreign fighters linked to the Al-shabaab militant group in El-dher district, Galgaduud region.

Military reports say the two were apprehended as they tried to flee using a boat in Mareeg beaches area in Galgaduud.

The report adds that the militants were arrest following information provided by the local residents in El-dher district.

The arrested suspects according to the sources are Yemeni nationals were part of the group’s ringleaders hiding in the Galgaduud region.
