Two Kenyan police officers killed, four injured in suspected Al-Shabaab attack

GOOBJOOG NEWS | NAIROBI: Two Kenyan police officers were killed Monday and another four sustained serious injuries after the vehicle they were travelling in ran over a remote-controlled IED at Ege-Dam along Daadab Garissa Road

According to a statement released by the Kenyan police, the officers were in one vehicle, headed for national examinations supervision duty, when they ran over the IED, suspected of having been planted by al-Shabaab militants. 

The Injured officers were rushed to Dadaab Hospital for treatment.
