Two members of one family killed in Dharkenley district by unknown gunmen

GOOBJOOG NEWS|BENADIR: Two members of one family were on Friday night shot dead by unknown gunmen in Benadir’s Dharkenley district, according to witness reports.

Hussein Abbas and Abdi Osman Ali are said to have been shot dead while seated in the Suuq Liif neighborhood of Dharkenley district. The sources added that other family members who were around during the shooting, escaped unhurt. 

Residents suspect that the killing of the two family members might have stemmed from a land dispute, although investigations are yet to be carried out to unravel the cause of the twin murders.
