Uhuru takes early lead as Raila disputes results

President Uhuru Kenyatta has taken an early lead  with more than half the votes counted, as challenger Raila Odinga disputed the results being released by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC).

The IEBC has however defended the provisional presidential results and rejected a demand by the National Super Alliance to stop transmitting them.
