UN Under-Secretary General, President Mohamud discuss ongoing war, ATMIS exit

GOOBJOOG NEWS|MOGADISHU: UN Under-Secretary-General, Mr. Atul Khare held talks with President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud Sunday during a working visit in Somalia.

according to a statement from Villa Somalia, the two leaders discussed the ongoing military offensive against the terrorists, ATMIS troop drawdown, and UNSOS’ post-ATMIS support to Somalia.

The UN Support Office in Somalia (UNSOS) provides logistics support to the African Union Transition Mission in Somalia (ATMIS) and Somali Security Forces (SSF).
