US “we call armed conflict in Beled-Hawo to peaceful political solution to the conflict”

US ambassador in Mogadishu Somalia Calls for all sides to disengage from armed conflict in Beled Hawo Gedo region. “We call for a peaceful political solution to the conflict for both sides and all leaders need to be patient & deescalate for the benefit of all Somalis in the region”.

Federal Government troops and wanted former Jubaland Security Minister, Abdirashid Janan forces broke out conflict at the border of Kenya and Somalia specifically Beled-Hawa district on earlier Monday.

The fighting also affected Mandera County while the leaders and residents of Mandera County accused Kenya government of giving room to the fugitive minister with armed troops that operates in Kenya.
