Veteran Journalist Mohamed Mursal Passes on in Mogadishu

GOOBJOOG NEWS/MOGADISHU: Veteran journalist Mohamed Isaaq Mursal has passed away in Mogadishu, the Ministry of Information has announced.

According to a statement from the Ministry, Mursal was one of the officials of the Ministry of Information of Somalia for a long time and held various positions and also served the Director of the Somali National News Agency SONNA.

The circumstances surrounding Mursal’s death were unclear.
