Yemen Coast Guards seize smuggling ships, carrying 87 Somalis

Yemeni Forces were able to seize smuggling ships, carrying 87 Somali nationals, while trying to smuggle them into Yemen illegally.

A Yemeni security officialin a press statementsaid that the Coast Guards in the Gulf of Adeninterceptedtwo vesselsnear the port ofMochainTaiz provincesouth of the capitalSana’a.
He pointed out that the two ships were delivered to the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees after the seizure.
The officer added thatthe security agenciescommenced an investigation on twosailorswhowere drivingthe two shipsto determine the causesand motivation oftheirsmugglingSomalirefugees.
