Yussuf Daba-geed calls on Hirshabelle and Galmudug to end the clan clashes in the regions
The former governor of Hiran region, Yusuf Ahmed Hagar Daba-geed has called on the local communities to take the peace in the border clashes of the areas between Hiran and Galgadud.
He said that it is important to work in peace and also to stop the bloodshed in Somalia again.
Yussuf called the two administrations of Galmudug and Hirshabelle to take an important role to end the violence between the two sides.
“Galmudug and Hirshabelle have a great responsibility to eradicate the conflict between these clans who are always afraid of clashes,” he said
Finally, Yusuf called on the Somali public, especially intellectuals to stop the violence in the regions.
Banyaaley district of Hiran region and boarder with Galgadud is reported to have resumed clan conflict between the neighbouring clans in the two regions.
